AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters
(EaO) Continuing on the path to revolutionize the filtration market, AMSOIL is introducing the new Ea Oil Filter line.
Ea Oil Filters feature advanced full synthetic nanofiber technology, making them the highest efficiency filters that are available
for the auto/light truck market.
Advanced Media Technology Cellulose and blended medias found in most oil filters
have larger fibers than the synthetic nanofibers found in the EaO Filters. They also have larger spaces between their fibers.
This causes contaminants to load in the depth of the media and plug the oil-flow path, resulting in higher restriction and
less capacity.
The smaller fibers in synthetic media also have a controlled size and shape. This results in greater
efficiency and capacity than cellulose filters, as well as better durability. AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters provide a higher level
of engine protection, as well as extended filter change intervals.
Oil Filtration Basics Clean oil is vital to engine
performance and durability. Oil must lubricate, cool and clean the engine as it circulates. In order to remain effective it
must be filtered as it cycles.
The filter is connected to the engine sump, which contains the oil pump. Full-flow filters
pass all the oil output from the pump through the filter.
The function of the oil filter is to remove the contaminants
introduced into the lubricating oil and prevent them from reaching sensitive engine parts without restricting normal oil flow
to the various points requiring lubrication. Internal sources of contamination include wear products from the rubbing surfaces
of the engine, blow-by gases leaking past the rings of the pistons and degradation of the oil itself. A filter must perform
well in the areas of efficiency, capacity, flow and life.
Absolute Efficiency Efficiency is the filter’s ability
to capture contaminants. The more efficient a filter is, the more contaminants it will remove from the oil. To make a filter
more efficient the spaces between the fibers in the media are made smaller, creating more resistance and limiting the oil’s
ability to flow through the filter. Achieving maximum efficiency along with limited resistance is critical to good filtration.
Extensive
testing shows that AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters achieve a near-perfect absolute efficiency rating. The exclusive new technology used
in AMSOIL EaO Filters provides filtering efficiency to 98.7 percent at 15 microns. EaO Filters are the most efficient filters
that are available for auto/light trucks.
Extended Service Intervals AMSOIL EaO Filters are guaranteed for 25,000
miles or one year, whichever comes first, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil in gasoline and diesel
vehicles in normal service. They are guaranteed for 15,000 miles for severe service. This coincides with the AMSOIL 25,000-mile/one
year motor oil drain interval, adding even more convenience for motorists by consolidating routine maintenance.
EaO
Filters are recommended for use up to two times longer than OEM recommendations for commercial units, fleets and RVs using
diesel fueled engines, not to exceed 60,000 miles for heavy-duty on-highway diesel applications.

AMSOIL Ea Air Filters (EaA) The Absolute Best Air Filtration
Available for Cars and Light Trucks
AMSOIL Ea Air Filters represent a major breakthrough in filtration technology.
The revolutionary nanofiber technology used in AMSOIL Ea Filters captures more dirt, holds more dirt and allows better air
flow than conventional air filters. AMSOIL Ea Filters improve engine performance and help engines last longer.
Absolute
Efficiency AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are the most efficient filters available to the car/light truck market. Ea Air Filters’
synthetic nanofiber media removes 5 times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than
wet gauze filter media. AMSOIL Ea Air Filters have a service life of 100,000 miles or four years, whichever comes first.
Better
Air Flow AMSOIL Ea Air Filters allow more airflow than filters that use cellulose media alone. Cellulose fibers are larger
than nanofibers, and have larger spaces between the fibers, causing contaminants to load in the depth of the media and plug
the airflow path, which results in higher restriction and less capacity. The synthetic nanofibers in EaA Filter media have
submicron diameters and small interfiber spaces, which result in more contaminants being captured on the surface of the media
and lower restriction.
More Capacity AMSOIL Ea Air Filters hold up to five times more contaminants than cellulose
air filters. Since the nanofibers in the media are so small there are more pores per square inch, allowing for higher dirt-holding
capacity and lower pressure drop when compared to cellulose filter media alone. Thinner media fibers produce more uniform
pore size distribution, improving the filter’s overall quality and ability to capture and retain particles. Testing shows
that Ea Air Filters hold 15 times more contaminants than a wet gauze type filter.
Cleanable - Longer Life When cleaned
according to AMSOIL specifications and used in normal service, AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are guaranteed for 100,000 miles or four
years, whichever comes first. EaA Filters remain effective for 25,000 miles or one year before requiring cleaning. This coincides
with the AMSOIL 25,000-mile/one-year motor oil drain interval, adding even more convenience for motorists by consolidating
routine maintenance.
Cleaning EaA filters should be cleaned every year or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. Carefully
remove the filter from the housing. Clean the housing with a shop towel, being careful not to knock contaminants into the
air inlet. Filters can be cleaned by carefully vacuuming the filter media on the dirty side, or by holding the filter with
one hand and carefully blowing the filter media at a 45 degree angle on the clean side using low-pressure shop air (15-20
lbs. psi).
Service Life AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are guaranteed for four years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The guarantee applies only if the filter has been serviced according to AMSOIL recommendations. In off-road, frequently dusty
or other severe duty applications, clean and change more often as determined by operating conditions or as indicated by restriction
gauge.

Now
you can purchase Donaldson Heavy Duty Air, Oil, Coolant, Fuel, and Hydraulic Filters from AMSOIL. The advanced technologies
from Donaldson filters include such industry leaders as Endurance™, PowerCore ®, Duramax ®, Synteq™ and Ultra-Web™. Donaldson
filters are used in the over-the-road classifications up to and exceeding 33,000 GVW, off-road equipment such as construction
and agriculture, plus industrial applications.
Donaldson Endurance™ Air Filters with exclusive nanofiber technology
offer longer engine life, longer filter life, initial efficiency up to 99.99 percent and five times more capacity.
The
nanofiber technology causes submicron contaminants to be held on the surface layer of smaller fibers. This filtration characteristic
is only possible with this new type of air filtration technology. In on-highway applications, where the contaminant is primarily
submicron in size, Donaldson Endurance filters cause less restriction than conventional filters with cellulose media. The
smaller interfiber spaces of nanofiber technology have a higher efficiency and capture more contaminant.
Donaldson
Endurance lube filters are made using exclusive advanced synthetic media technologies. Synthetic media technology delivers
cost saving benefits with:
• Extended Service Life • Greater engine protection to prolong engine and equipment
life • Improved lubricant flow • Improved cold start performance • Reduced operating costs
The controlled
media manufacturing process allows Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters to deliver both higher dirt holding capacity at the same
pressure differential and higher efficiency compared to conventional cellulose filters. The synthetic media also has better
durability with usage.
Throughout the service life of a cellulose filter, hot oil will degrade the resins that bind
the media. The synthetic media technology uses a wire screen backing pleated with the media, resulting in superior strength.
Donaldson
Endurance™ oil filters offer extended service intervals, greater engine protection to prolong engine and equipment life, improved
lubricant flow, improved cold start performance and lower operating costs.

Donaldson P-Series Heavy Duty Filters.
AMSOIL is now
introducing the P-Series of Donaldson filters to compliment the Endurance line. The expanded offering of filtration products
features many applications that differ from, and several that coincide with the Endurance line. Donaldson P-Series filters
offer premium filtration at a competitive price. AMSOIL now stocks all of Donaldson's most popular filter applications.
Donaldson
P-Series Lube Filters Increased engine emissions control and tighter tolerances within the engine require high efficiency
filters.
Donaldson P-Series filters are constructed with full synthetic or synthetic blend media for high efficiency.
The media is embedded deeper into the sealing plastisol than conventional filters, allowing better sealing longevity. The
lube filter can is constructed of heavy gauge steel, with many models having domed tops that provide superior pressure fatigue
performance. The center tube allows more flow without compromising strength, and the louvered design eliminates tearing during
pleat movement. The can and base plate are I assembled using a fully tucked seam, roll-formed threads, a nitrile sealing gasket
and a compression spring holding all the components in place within the filter.
Air Filters Donaldson P-Series filter
media is made up of specially formulated fibers designed to trap contaminants such as dust, dirt and soot before they reach
the engine. The media is pleated to maximize the filter surface area and placed between rigid liners to provide stability
and. support. A high quality filter seal is applied or built-in to the open end of the filter to prevent dirty air from bypassing
the filter. Donaldson has developed an extensive range of air filter media to provide the best engine protection no matter
what the operating conditions. For example, using the same particle size contaminant, for every eight grams of dirt passed
through a Luber-finer filter, the Donaldson filter passed only two grams.

Ea Motorcycle
Air Filters AMSOIL INC. revolutionized the filtration industry with its introduction of AMSOIL Ea Air and Ea Oil Filters.
For the first time exclusive nanofiber technology – the same technology used in the Abrams M1 tank and other heavy duty
applications – was made available for automotive applications. Now, AMSOIL has made this outstanding new technology

Nanofiber Basics Because the nanofibers in AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air Filter media
are so small, there are more pores per square inch, allowing for higher dirt-holding capacity and lower pressure drop compared
to traditional filter medias. Thinner media fibers produce more uniform pore size distribution, improving the filter’s
overall ability to capture and retain particles.
Air Filtration Basics An engine requires air for combustion,
but the air drawn in through the induction system is loaded with contaminants. There are over 400 tons of suspended dirt and
other contaminants in a cubic mile of air over a typical city. The concentration can be even higher in rural areas where there
is frequent travel on unpaved roads. The dirt and contaminants drawn into an engine from the air are the leading causes of
engine wear.
The function of the air filter is to trap and hold these wear causing contaminants without restricting
air flow. As the filter traps more and more contaminants, air flow becomes restricted, smothering the engine and diminishing
performance. The more wear causing contaminants a filtration media traps and holds, while still allowing optimum air flow,
the better the filtration media.
The nanofiber technology used in AMSOIL Ea Filters surpasses all other technology
in efficiency, capacity and service life. With AMSOIL Ea Air Filters, dust and submicron particles remain on the surface and
are trapped in the nanofibers, preventing particles from lodging in the filter media depth. This produces higher efficiency
and higher capacity, extending engine and filter life and reducing engine wear.
Ea Motorcycle Air Filters The
filtration media in the Ea Motorcycle Air Filter is pleated and has epoxy-coated wire on the face and back of the media for
additional strength and stiffness. High quality plastisol potting compounds bond the pleat packs to the plastic or aluminum
side plates. The S&S (aftermarket engine and carburetor manufacturer) style round filters are manufactured with high-quality
plastisol that bonds the media to the wire backing and sealing area.
Superior Filtration The synthetic nanofiber
media featured in AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air Filters have sub-micron diameters and small inter-fiber spaces, resulting in more
contaminants being captured on the surface of the media and lower restriction. Cellulose, wetted gauze and foam filters have
larger spaces between the media that cause contaminants to load in the depth of the filter, resulting in airflow path plugging,
higher restriction and lower capacity.
Cleanable for Long Service Life AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air Filters are
cleanable, providing unsurpassed protection and long service life. AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air Filters should be cleaned every
year or according to operating conditions. Operation in extremely dusty or dirty environments may require more frequent cleaning.
Ea Motorcycle Air Filters should be changed every four years.
Cleaning Instructions AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air
Filters are cleaned in the same manner as AMSOIL Ea Air Filters for cars and light trucks: with a vacuum or shop air. To clean
with a vacuum, place the filter on a flat surface and carefully vacuum the filter media on the dirty side where the incoming
airflow enters the filter. To clean with shop air, hold the filter with one hand and carefully blow the filter media at a
45-degree angle on the clean side of the filter using low-pressure (15 to 20 psi) shop air. Using too much air pressure will
damage the filter media.
Superior Alternative AMSOIL is producing an initial offering of eight Ea Motorcycle
Air Filters manufactured for the most popular Harley Davidson models from the years 1988 to 2006, including motorcycles equipped
with S&S carburetors and air cleaner housings.
